My grandparents were of the Greatest Generation. Both of my grandfathers served, one in the Mediterranean and North Africa and another was admin stateside. I grew up hearing their stories, and seeing photos of each of my grandmothers with their young babies. Your pictures in this article very much reminded me of those. What cherished keepsakes!
