You know what's funny...I've noticed the opposite just as much! So many people seemed disappointed when my second child turned out to be another boy (myself included for a minute). I think it's very situational and cultural what opinions are of the different baby genders.

I would have loved a daughter, as my husband would have, too. But, with 2 boys we are totally content. I think anyone with half a brain and heart will love their new baby no matter their gender. Especially once they are born.

You make some very good points here and it does make me sad to think about all the shit girls then women have to put up with! :(
